SMELT is a system integrator for professional radio communication and delivering radio solutions to several markets as industry, education, public safety etc. We are using SAP Business One for sales orders, warehousing, invoices and financial administration for several years and were looking for a solution to use the quotation option in SAP in a more flexible way than supported by SAP Business One.

In great cooperation with the team of dox42 we have been able to design a proposal document based on the dox42 server which links directly to a customer quotation in SAP Business One. Our sales team can prepare the customer proposal in SAP Business One and with one button-click generate a great looking proposal. All relevant data as customer contacts, product descriptions and pricing is retrieved directly from the SAP database. Meanwhile we are also using dox42 to generate a realtime proposal overview in Excel and looking into the possibilities to have the actual financial data displayed in a PowerPoint page.
