Design reports in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint fast and intuitively. Using drag-and-drop functionality, it is possible to integrate data fields directly in the document templates. All the design possibilities of Microsoft Office can be used for reports and documents, and existing documents or attachments of different formats like PDF, Word, graphics and images in new documents can be embedded, just like 1-D and 2-D barcode types. An interaction with the user by options dialogs before the generation of the report is also possible.
dox42 lets you combine any number of different data sources in one document. Supported data sources include SQL databases, data from SharePoint lists & document libraries, Office 365, XML/JSON, Excel, Webservices and many more. Easily connect your Dynamics 365 platform: Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement | CRM as well as user-defined data sources (individual development) can be integrated via different add-on modules. In addition, integrate data from ERP systems like SAP, Dynamics AX | Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, and others. dox42 can also be integrated with Microsoft Navision (NAV).

Output formats like PDF, PDF/A, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TXT, different graphic files, XML/JSON, HTML and many more can be specified flexibly. The output is possible via your printer and can be distributed directly via email. Documents can be stored in archiving systems and SharePoint/Office 365 document libraries.
